From fall weddings to graduation dinners and restaurant service in the North End, Boston goes through a lot of table linens. Hush picks up tablecloths across Boston, washes out the stains and returns them clean, folded and counted.
Boston's event calendar has two big peaks: late spring, when graduations and university events fill every banquet room, and fall, when wedding season runs into the holidays. Caterers and rental companies often send linens from several events in one week, while restaurants in the North End and South End need a steady weekly supply.
Many Boston venues have tight loading areas and limited parking, so tell us where linens will be waiting: a loading dock, back door or front desk. For events in historic buildings in Beacon Hill or Back Bay, add the venue's access rules when you book and we'll schedule the pickup around them.
Pickup areas: Back Bay, Beacon Hill, South End, North End, Seaport, Fenway, Jamaica Plain, Allston, Brighton, South Boston, Charlestown, Dorchester.

Shake out crumbs and leave linens in any bag, at your door or with venue staff.
Each tablecloth is checked, pre-treated, washed, dried and folded.
Linens come back folded and counted, usually the next day.
Pickup and delivery are included on every Boston order, and sales tax is added at checkout. Book a weekday morning or afternoon window, add your tablecloths or a bulk order, and let us know if the count changes before pickup. We tally every order when we collect it and again when it comes back.
For large orders, bulk tablecloths are priced by the pound with a 15-pound minimum. Bulk orders suit rental companies, venues and caterers that send many linens at once. Everything is counted at pickup and again at return.
From October through December, Boston's dinner and event schedule gets crowded, and linens often sit in bags between events. Wine and sauce set faster the longer they wait, so the best results come from a pickup within a day or two of the event. Set up a recurring pickup through the busy months and you'll always have clean linens ready for the next table.
Boston dinners lean on butter, cream sauces and red wine, and seafood-heavy menus leave grease that a home wash rarely lifts. We check every tablecloth when it reaches us, pre-treat grease and wine, and wash whites and ivories apart from colored linens so nothing picks up dye. Silk, satin and sequined overlays from wedding receptions are dry cleaned per item instead of washed. If a stain won't come out, such as wax that has sat for weeks, we flag the cloth instead of returning it as if it were clean.
Most restaurants in the North End and South End have little storage and no room for a commercial washer, and banquet rooms near the universities turn over several events a week in May and June. Washing 120-inch rounds in a household machine doesn't work, and a cloth that comes out still stained can't go back on a table. Hush picks up from your back door or loading area, washes and folds every cloth, and brings them back the next day, so your team can spend the week on service instead of laundry.
